This super sweet older gentleman is Charlie! He was surrendered to the Franklin Township Animal Shelter after his long-time owner sadly passed away. Charlie is 10+ years old and is looking for an adult-only home where he can lovingly enjoy his golden years. Charlie has a great appetite and the only thing he likes more than food and treats is spending time with people! He loves attention and being petted. Charlie lived with another cat, so he may get along with a feline friend with a similar demeanor. Although Charlie is no longer a young kitten, he still has tons of love left to give! Won’t someone give this senior a chance? (If adopted by someone 60 years of age or older, his $80 adoption fee will be waived). Franklin Township Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Adoption fee for dogs, cats, kittens, and rabbits is $80 per animal. Cats, dogs, rabbits and kittens are spayed/neutered. Cats, dogs, and kittens are microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate shots prior to adoption. Cats have also been tested for feline leukemia and FIV and dogs have been tested for heartworm. An adoption application may be found at the link below. Applications can be faxed to the Animal Shelter at 732-873-8902 or e-mailed to Brian.Hartman@FranklinNJ.Gov. Applications may also be dropped off in person during our open hours Tuesday-Friday 12pm-3pm Saturday 12-6pm.
