My name is Charlie and I'm a Domestic Shorthair currently living at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home! <br/><br/>Charlie is a nearly 4 year old sweetheart with a soft heart that just needs a little time to shine. While he can be a bit shy at first, he's typically the most confident of his brothers that he came in with, and while he's still learning that he's safe with us, his gentle personality comes through. This handsome boy enjoys the quiet comforts of life: cozy hiding spots, soft blankets, and peaceful naps. In his previous home it was noted that nighttime is where he shows his most affectionate side, often choosing to sleep close to his person, loving the sense of warm companionship. He's the kind of cat who bonds deeply and loyally once he trusts you. Because of his sensitive nature, he would thrive in a calm, patient home where he can settle at his own pace. <br/><br/><br/>Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home.<br/><br/>Need some supplies?
