While he's a bit younger than his senior best friend, Precious, he is her most devoted companion and self-appointed protector.<br/><br/>Charlie and Precious found themselves at Chicago Animal Care and Control at the end of 2025. It was a scary, loud environment, but Charlie made sure Precious felt safe until we were able to pull them both. Charlie is a sturdy, classic tabby who loves his people just as much as he loves his feline partner. He has a calm, steady presence that makes any room feel cozier.<br/><br/>Charlie isn't looking for a solo spotlight-he is a package deal with his best friend, Precious. He would do best in a home that appreciates a large, loving cat who comes with a built-in best friend. If you have room for a big tabby with an even bigger heart, Charlie is ready to meet you.<br/><br/>Charlie is neutered, up-to-date on his FVRCP and Rabies vaccines and he is FIV and FeLV negative.<br/><br/>He is is currently staying at our Heartland Facility! We are open Thursday 4 pm-7 pm, Friday 4 pm-7 pm, Saturday Noon-6 pm, and Sunday Noon-6 pm. Feel free to stop by to meet him! No appointment necessary.
