Meet Charlie!<br/>Charlie is a sweet brown-gray tabby, almost two years old, who has lovingly raised a litter of three kittens and is now ready for her own forever home. She loves cuddling, watching the world from the window, and relaxing on a cat tree. Playful with her kittens yet happily independent, Charlie also enjoys cozy naps - sometimes right in the middle of the floor. She's a gentle, affectionate girl who would make a wonderful companion.

Friends of Normie's Adoption Policy

We start with an application. If the application is approved, we then call the applicant. We do a phone interview that lasts anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour. If another phone call is needed, we may do multiple. If those two steps go well, we then do a home check and then a supply check to make sure the applicant meets our standards of care. If an applicant passes those steps, we then will set up a meet and greet and see how the applicant does with that kitty. If that step goes well, they are then cleared for adoption and are able to take the kitty home in a carrier (not cardboard box).

Our goal is to save abandoned, stray and unwanted cats and kittens. Marla has been an independent rescuer for over 20 years, and I joined her 3 years ago when I started trapping, TNR, and fostering kittens I saw on the streets.
