Charlie's Story

Charlie was found in an auto body shop in Surrey when he was a newborn baby. His momma brought him inside and placed him in a drawer for safe keeping. We watched for a week to see if she would bring any more kittens, but she never did, and we made the decision to trap mom using little baby Charlie as Bait..

Both momma Deb and Charlie were brought to the shelter, kept safe and fed, with vet care given. Charlie is a very large kitten. And will be a large cat since he got all momma's milk.

He is also very independent, he's not a huge cuddler. He is very playful, and when he plays with other kittens, he plays too rough (and he's also much bigger than the kittens that are older than he is).

He's confident, good with other cats, and doesn't mind the smaller dogs either. We think he might be a bit to rough to be with kids, because he really doesn't like to be held for very long. This might change in time, but it's hard to tell..

Charlie is currently 10 weeks old (today being August 31, 2026)..

His adoption fee is $550, and that will include his vaccines, deworming, flea treatment, neuter and microchip - this must all be done at one of our partnering veterinarians clinics.

If you are interested in Charlie, please copy and paste the following link to the adoption application info your web browser

www.lowermainlandhumanesociety.org/adoption-application/
