Charles & Lola's Story

**Note: PetFinder sometimes has issues with delivering inquiries. If you do not hear from us within a couple days, please email us directly at stina.larson@gmail.com or email directly regardless.**

Charles and Lola are an adorable orange tabby brother-and-sister pair who are ready to find their forever home together. These good-looking siblings were rescued from a cat colony at a trailer park where their future was uncertain. Thankfully, they were brought into a loving foster home where they’ve grown safe, healthy, and more confident every day.

Both kittens are on the shy side but very friendly at heart. They truly want love and affection — they just need a patient family to help them continue building confidence.

Charles, the medium-haired boy, may look very serious (hence the distinguished name “Charles” instead of Charlie!), but underneath that thoughtful expression is a total purr machine. He can be cautious and takes a bit longer than his sister to warm up, but once he does, the purring starts and doesn’t stop. Charles loves to play and is highly motivated by kitty treats. He still startles easily but is recovering more quickly each time — a sign of the wonderful progress he’s already made. He may take a little extra patience as he adjusts to indoor life, but he is absolutely worth the effort.

Lola, the short-haired sister, tends to warm up a bit faster. She loves pets and is often the first to come forward for attention. Like her brother, she enjoys playtime (though she’s slightly less intense about it) and absolutely adores her treats. Both kittens will sweetly head-butt their foster mom’s hand to ask for love — it’s one of their cutest habits.

Right now, Charles and Lola aren’t big fans of being picked up, but they are making steady progress. With time, patience, and gentle handling, they will continue to blossom into wonderful companions.

They would do best in a quieter home and should be fine with older, respectful children who understand the importance of going slowly and being gentle. They have not been fostered with dogs, so it's not known how they would react.

These two have already come such a long way. Now they just need a patient, loving family to help them take the final steps toward full confidence. The reward? Two devoted, affectionate orange sweethearts.

The adoption fee is $230.

Charles and Lola were born around 10/1/25. They have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated. They are litter box trained.

We recommend adopting two kittens if you have no other pets (or even if you do), because you will get twice the love with less work and they will develop fewer behavioral issues, while costs remain relatively similar.

We are located in the Columbia Gorge area in OR/WA (this is where the kittens are fostered), but we are able to transport to those locations where we advertise (i.e. Seattle and Portland area). There isn't an additional fee for transport, but any additional donation to help support what our little group does is appreciated.

When responding to this ad, please provide a phone number where you can be reached. Having an alternate means to contact people is helpful, since our email can end up in SPAM. Please also provide some information on your home. For example: Do you have small children? How many? Is your home life quiet or busy? Do you live in a rural or urban area? Do you have any other pets? What else should we know?

All of the kittens at Pawsitivity are fostered in homes where they are cared for and socialized. We don't keep kittens in cages (except maybe at bedtime). Our foster parents are able to learn each of their personalities this way and determine the best home for them. We also make sure all kittens are healthy before placing them in their forever home.

For additional information on our group and what we do, please check out our website: www.pawsitivity.info

Pawsitivity's Adoption Policy
Adopter understands that kittens/cats available for adoption have been rescued from a variety of situations, including neglect/abuse, as such could be subject to health or behavioral problems not known at this time. Adopter agrees and accepts the kitten/cat with this understanding. The kittens/cats are healthy and up to date on all vaccines and medical treatments which were necessary for the health of the kitten/cat. Rescuer/foster makes no further guarantees or warranties of any kind for health of the kitten/cat and that the adopter assumes all risks at/from the time of initial possession and following. Adopter understands full responsibility for the health and welfare of the adopted kitten/cat for the duration of the natural life. The responsibility includes all costs for veterinary and health needs, housing and shelter, food and any other expenses related to care and welfare. Adopter agrees to contact a veterinarian to follow up vaccines, if needed. Adopter understands that declawing cats is a cruel procedure and will not do that to the adopted kitten/cat. Adopter agrees to pay the adoption fee/donation. We do not have an adoption application, but we do want to speak to the potential adopter and ask a few questions in order to make sure we find the right fit for our cats/kittens.
