Charger's Story

Charger was one of a few cats trapped from a large commercial space in Astoria, Queens recently. While her other colony members were clear candidates for TNR, we weren't too sure about her given her curious, interactive nature. During post-op recovery, it became clear that Charger is actually still a kitten! Responding to our vocal cues and not showing signs of fear or apprehension, she ultimately became a candidate for intake. She is currently being socialized in foster care and getting accustomed to living in an indoor environment. Charger would do well in a calm household with people who can read her body language and give her the time and space he needs to be the confident girl she is!

Charger is a remarkably special, affectionate, and somewhat timid young (appx 10 month old) feline. She has made significant progress, transitioning from a state of fear to comfortably cuddling on laps. She truly adores receiving cuddles and gentle petting. Charger is quite small and quiet, making her an ideal companion for a household where family members are gentle and kind towards her. She enjoys treats and playing with her stick worm toy. She would also likely thrive in the company of other cats, provided they are equally gentle. Charger prefers to sleep during the day and engage in play and eating activities at night. She is an exceptionally cute and gentle cat, and she is seeking a patient and loving family. She is very well-behaved and utterly adorable.

Charger is up to date on her vaccines, fixed, and ready for her forever home!
