FeLV is not a type of cancer. Both FIV and FeLV are viruses that cause a weaker immune system. While cats with FIV can often be asymptomatic during their lifetime, cats with FeLV typically have a shortened lifespan. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. Charcoal can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions?
