My name is Chance... and I’m here because someone gave me one. 🤍<br/><br/>When I was found, I was barely holding on. I weighed less than 5 pounds and was suffering from a severe respiratory infection that almost took my life. But somehow, I kept fighting — and with love, care, and time, I’ve gained weight, healed, and started learning how to trust again.<br/><br/>I’m about 4 years old and FIV positive, but that doesn’t define who I am. I still deserve a safe home, soft blankets, and someone who sees how special I really am.<br/><br/>I’m not the kind of cat who will rush up to strangers right away. I take time to warm up, and I need a patient, understanding home that will let me move at my own pace. But once I feel safe, I quietly become your companion. My favorite thing is finding a warm spot to curl up beside — near a heater, sunny window, or next to someone kind.<br/><br/>I’ve already survived the hardest part of my story.
