Champ's Story

Champ is a very unique boy, and we've grown to absolutely love both him and his personality! Champ is always curious about what's going on and is never far behind to investigate. He is VERY playful and always finds a way to entertain himself, keeping everyone around him smiling.

He can be a little untrusting at first and may keep his distance while he gets to know you, but once you earn his trust, you're his best friend for life. Champ loves to roll onto his back for belly rubs and pets, and his goofy, charming personality makes him endless entertainment.

Champ is missing the tips of his ears after losing them to frostbite before coming into rescue, but honestly, it just adds to his charm and makes him even more unforgettable. He's a lovable, quirky boy looking for someone who will appreciate just how special he is.

April's Kittens's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process is designed to ensure cats are placed in safe, stable, and loving homes. Adopters must be at least 20 years old, with at least one person on the adoption contract meeting this requirement. All adoption paperwork is completed electronically, so a valid email and ability to receive text messages are required. Adopters must confirm their housing allows cats by obtaining lease or HOA approval. All household members must agree to adding a new pet to ensure a smooth transition. For the safety of all animals, resident pets must be fully vetted and up to date on vaccinations and preventative care, and adopters should be prepared to provide veterinary records if requested. Above all, adopters must demonstrate the ability to provide a safe, loving, and responsible home for their new cat.
