Chamomile's Story

Chamomile has been through a lot ending up at the shelter twice. The first time she was left behind in a home and her feline companion and her were separated. This time she was surrendered. Chamomile is looking for a new quiet home that will give her the patients she needs. While Chamomile might not be the most loving right away and may need more patience and time we know in the right home she will do great. Chamomile could be the diamond in the rough just waiting to be discovered.

Rock Springs Animal Control's Adoption Policy

Our adoption fees are as follows: $80.00 for dogs/puppies of any age $20.00 for any cat over 1 yr of age $40.00 for any cat under 1 yr of age All animals will be spayed or neutered and be up to date on vaccinations before they go to their new homes. We perform all of our adoptions by an application process. This process is to ensure a pet ends up in a forever home as well as ensuring all laws and regulations are being obeyed and that the animal will not be returned to Animal Control due to lack of foresight. You are more than welcome to come down to the shelter during business hours and take a look at the animals we do have. They deserve the chance to have a loving home! We are open from 10 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday (Closed weekends and holidays)

Our Mission

We are the Animal Control facility for the city of Rock Springs and Sweetwater County. The animals displayed may not all be adoptable, some may be on a 5 day stray hold. If you are missing a pet, be sure to give us a call or visit the shelter during business hours.
