Chai's Story

Hello, My name is Chai and I was found as a sick stray kitten by a Good Samaritan who brought me to the emergency hospital in Modesto. My foster mom who's an emergency vet, took me in to treat my severe respiratory infection and cover my medical costs. Unfortunately, the infection lead to me losing my eye and undergoing enucleation surgery. This does not slow me down and I can see well out of my remaining eye. I am a purrrfect combination of cuddly and playful. I am very outgoing and love to play with the other kittens but also prefer to snuggle up with my human at night. My foster mom requests I be indoor only to protect me from the dangers of the outdoors. I will likely adapt well with other cats, could get used to dogs (as long as they have been deemed cat friendly), and kids. I would love a kitten friend to play with but could do well on my own with my confidence. If you have any questions please reach out to Shannon Snook 916-622-6517 text is preferred but calls are okay. Providing updates on how I'm doing is encouraged!click here
