Cerulean-Queen of the Castle's Story

Despite her small size, she was a fierce protector of her kittens which made weighing them difficult at first. It took time for her to trust her humans.

Now that nursing duties are over, she plays like a kitten. She runs around the house with a play mouse in her mouth or plays with her two un-adopted kittens until she remembers she is a mom and starts licking them.

She approaches for pets by rolling at the foster mom's feet or sitting beside her and purrs when you pet her. She loves attention but can become overstimulated with extended petting and may give a gentle warning nip to let you know she's had enough. An experienced cat owner who understands feline body language will be the best match for her. Because of this, she's best suited for an experienced cat owner and a home without young children.

Cerulean has made it very clear that she prefers not to share her home with other cats! She's convinced she's the Queen of the Castle and has no interest in sharing her throne. She responds to other cats with impressive "banshee" vocals and a fearless charge, so she'd be happiest as your one and only cat.

She would do well with a patient, experienced cat owner who understands trust needs to be developed over time.

You must be at least 21 years of age to adopt from us. We accept online/electronic credit or debit card pre-payments for adoptions (no cash).

NOTE: Please do not ask us to HOLD a cat/kitten for you. Our space is very limited as we don't have a facility.
