I haven't had a very stable home life, and shelter life has been especially scary, so I'm still learning how to feel safe again. When I'm unsure, I may hiss or growl to protect myself, but it comes from fear, not who I truly am underneath. I did spend time in a foster home before coming here, so I know that with patience and understanding, I can begin to settle and trust. I'm looking for a very patient person who will let me go at my own pace and give me the chance to discover what love feels like when it's finally consistent and kind.
