Cece is an absolute goofball and such a special girl. She loves to sit like a human and nap like a tiny grandpa, but she also loves playtime and will entertain herself with toys for long stretches. She is also a fan of drinking water straight from the faucet. She is a doglike cat who is nearly full grown (but is still petite) and past her crazy kitten era (and it was crazy-she had a looot of energy!). <br/><br/>Cece is not a stage-5 clinger but will want to sleep on the bed with you every night and will take a siesta next to you on the couch after a long day (or in your lap). She also loves other cats and would love to have a playmate to sit at the window with and watch bird TV. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.<br/><br/>When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.<br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
