Catrick Swayze

Catrick Swayze appeared at our facility over a year ago, limping. After months of attempting to trap him, we were finally successful in December. He had his leg treated and was neutered and received his vaccinations. He was returned outdoors where he was more comfortable.<br/><br/>Over the next 6 months, we have worked with Catrick to build his trust in humans. Although we originally deemed him 'feral', he was the fearful kind, not the 'wants to eat you' kind of feral.<br/><br/>In the last week, Catrick has voluntarily come into the shelter. He has learned to not only accept pets and love, but has started seeking it out and likes to follow us around. He has learned what toys are and has started playing.<br/><br/>He is a big boy - around 13+ pounds. He has obviously done well living outdoors, but we'd love for this boy to find a home where he can be inside as much as possible. This guy has weathered too many storms, put up with too much heat and ice and deserves a comfy place to call his furever home where he doesn't have to worry about that anymore.<br/><br/>If you'd like to come meet this love bug, he's still a little shy but is getting better every day - pop on over to 1970 Lewisburg Rd in Russellville and take home a big boy who, very soon, will be a cuddle master!
