Cathy and Coltrane's Story

Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at https://alleycatproject.org/adopt
Please do not submit an inquiry via Petfinder.

Meet Cathy and Coltrane, a bonded pair of kitten siblings! They are approximately 4 months old.

Cathy is a medium haired, dark, marbled tabby with classic whorls on her sides and a slight greenish tint to her eyes. She is a fierce hunter and will pursue her (toy) prey over land, water, and air, all day and night long. She is friendly and enjoys pets and attention. That said, she loves to play most of all! Cathy will do anything for churu and is generally a fan of wet food. She is very sweet and will tolerate being picked up, but generally prefers freedom of movement.

Coltrane is a medium haired, light grey, striped tabby. He prefers to observe wand toys from a distance and pounce when the time is right, especially if the toy is hidden. Otherwise, he is a quiet and respectful little guy. He is fascinated by other cats and takes an interest in people, but he is shy about being touched right now. Coltrane also likes churu and joining cuddle puddles, and with a little patience he will be seeking out attention from humans, too.

Together, they make a quiet and cuddly pair. Coltrane will need a little time to warm up to people, but both kittens love to play and are highly interested in other cats. They are also siblings to Chick and Chopin.

What Cathy and Coltrane are looking for in a home:
They want to stay together forever and must be adopted as a pair.
Theyre new to indoor life with humans, so they need a kind and patient guide to help them continue adjusting. Loud noises, fast movements, and strangers can make them nervous.
Theyll need extra time and TLC to build trust.
They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
They need to live indoors only.
They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.
They have no known history with dogs.
They have no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.
Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:
$200 per cat or kitten
$350 for pair of cats or kittens
$50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in Cathy and Coltrane! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: https://alleycatproject.org/adopt

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire and we will not respond.
