Castor is a sweet and playful boy who loves being around people and other cats. He's always ready for a game, enjoys gentle play biting, and soaks up every bit of affection he can get. This loving kitty will happily keep you entertained with his energy and then curl up for snuggles when playtime is done.<br/><br/>When Castor was a tiny kitten, he battled an illness that left him with watery eyes. While his eyes may always look a little teary, it doesn't slow him down one bit, and most importantly, it isn't contagious. He's a happy, healthy, affectionate cat who just happens to have a unique feature that makes him extra special.<br/><br/>For Pet's Sake Rescue is a Mississippi based rescue. All animals are currently in MS. Mississippi is overpopulated with too many animals, not enough adopters, and many high kill shelters. For Pet's Sake Rescue saves each animal from a different background. <br/><br/>***Breed input is required for each platform but is not guaranteed to be accurate. We do not DNA test. We rescue animals from different situations.We discuss breed assignments with our vets to label them as accurately as possible.***<br/><br/>For Pet's Sake Rescue transports animals to other states for better adoption potential. Our goal is to keep animals alive and out of kennels into their forever homes as quickly as possible. Each animal is quarantined and vetted during their time in our care. Each adopted pet is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped and has current flea treatment unless otherwise noted. <br/><br/>You can visit our website at www.forpetssakerescue.org for our full adoption process and adoption application. Once we review your application and check your vet reference, we will contact you to proceed. If both parties agree to the adoption, we will send you an Adoption Contract with an invoice. Once the invoice is paid, your pet is "on hold" for you to pick up or we can transport the pet to a designated location closer to you via transport. Transports are arranged for specific dates. We will discuss these dates and locations with you during the initial phone call. <br/><br/>We are currently unable to adopt pets to ME and RI residents.<br/><br/>Any of our adoptable animals can be transported unless otherwise noted in their profile.
