Meet Castaway
Rescued from the streets of Milwaukee as the weather turned colder, Castaway came into her foster home needing medical attention.
She had the worst stomatitis we've ever seen. Her mouth and throat were so swollen that she couldn't eat and could barely breath. After several rounds of antibiotics and a dental, she is feeling so much better and ready to find her new best friend..
Castaway truly is a diamond in the rough. She likes people and attention. She is a chill gal who loves a good Netflix binge. Shy at first, but very motivated by food, she will come to you for treats and quickly warm up.
Castaway’s personality will continue to shine as she gains confidence in her forever home. She talks in sweet little chirps, enjoys affection, and is such a mellow girl. Her favorite activity is watching squirrels and birds outside the window from the comfort of a cushy window seat.
Because of her time as a street savvy lady, loud noises and unexpected movements might send her into momentary hiding, so Castaway would do best in a calmer household. She does fine with other cats as long as they are not rambunctious or bullying. We assume she would be fine with an old mellow dog. She is more of a quiet observer and snuggler, than a playful gal.
At this time, she is afraid of new people, so a zoom meet n' greet or videos from her foster may be a good starting point to see her true personality. Once she learns you are her friend and her new home is safe, she will come to you for pets and give you plenty of affection. This girl is bff material.

All cats are altered, microchipped, dewormed and given age appropriate vaccinations.
