Cassie (Courtesy Post)'s Story

Cassie was rescued from a rooftop along with her siblings. She is about 14 weeks old now and is working her way to 4 pounds of special. She is spayed and vaccinated and up for adoption now through Rescue-a-Kitty.

Cassie is a beautiful sweet Tortie kitten. She wears a coat of speckled brown and black with little bits of white which must be seen in person to be appreciated. Pictures don’t do her justice!

Cassie is a rambunctious energetic girl. She loves to play with her much larger friends. And when she finally tires herself out, she’ll reach her little paw out asking for attention. She will lay next to her foster mom and crawl up to lay on her chest or wrap herself around her neck and purr. It does take a bit to tire her out though.

Cassie is a brave little one. She loves to explore. She can be a little shy with new people but will come around and play fairly quickly. She knows what she wants! She’s got ‘tortitude’.!!!

She lives with a small senior 20lb dog and two 2 year old cats.

This little one keeps you laughing and smiling with her playful antics.

She is located in South San Jose.

is being cared for by a member of the community. All adoption applications are reviewed and each applicant is contacted to determine the best fit possible for you and the cat you are interested in. If you are approved for adoption, you will be asked to sign an adoption agreement via email. CAT MEDICAL HISTORY AND HEALTH All of our rescued cats have an initial health check when they are at the shelter. Our goal is to understand the health of each of our cats and provide that information to any potential adopter. However, we cannot guarantee the health of the cat. Therefore we recommend that you take your newly adopted cat to a licensed veterinarian as soon as possible after your adoption. Any known health issues will be disclosed at the time you meet the cat.
