Cassie

Cassie is a complicated girl and will need a patient home to help her thrive. She was found outside as a "wild" kitten and brought inside. After almost a year, her person had to move and wasn't able to take Cassie. She is friendly but has retained some of the independence that she learned on the streets. She prefers to give love on her terms. She's good for pets and will cozy up on a lap but mostly she likes to observe her surroundings from a comfortable perch. She dislikes being picked up and having her nails trimmed. Cassie does good with other calm cats that respect her boundaries. She has never seen a dog and reacts with fear; same for young children. She will run and hide when afraid and will hiss and swat if pushed too far. Her ideal home will be routine and quiet and without dogs or young kids. Cassie is a beauty with sass.
