Cassidy's Story

Meet Cassidy

Born around 8/14/2025, this beautiful orange tabby girl has already faced more than her share of challenges - and come through them with nothing but sweetness in her heart.

Cassidy was most likely hit by a car before she was rescued, leaving her with a broken pelvis and an injury to her tail. Thanks to a devoted foster who stepped in and gave her the care and love she desperately needed, Cassidy was able to heal safely and comfortably. Her tail had to be shortened, so now she sports the cutest little stub - a tiny badge of bravery that wiggles when she's happy.

Because of her pelvic injury, Cassidy will always walk with a bit of a wobble and sit in her own quirky way. But don't tell her she's any different. This resilient girl still jumps, climbs the cat tree, and explores with determination and joy. She doesn't see limitations - she just sees life waiting to be lived.

Cassidy absolutely adores attention. She leans into gentle hands, purring in the sweetest gratitude, as if she knows just how lucky she is to be safe. Or maybe it's us who are lucky to know her. She thrives on love and happily soaks up every bit of it.

To help her stay comfortable long-term, Cassidy will remain on a wet food diet to support her pelvis and digestion. And because she's already survived so much, she must be an indoor-only kitty where she can stay safe and protected.

And here's something extra special - Cassidy is an orange tabby girl. Orange females are rare, which makes her just a little bit magical on top of everything else.

Cassidy is more than her past. She is resilience wrapped in soft fur, gratitude tucked into a stubby tail, and hope carried in bright, trusting eyes. She is ready for a forever family who will cherish her uniqueness, celebrate her strength, and love her exactly as she is.

If you're looking for a cat with heart, courage, and an endless supply of purrs, Cassidy is waiting to meet you.
