Cashmere's Story

Cashmere is a quiet, laid-back girl. She is the perfect companion for someone wanting a chill kitten. She of course likes to play like all babies do, but she especially loves to find cozy places to perch or to curl up and take a nap. She is a bit more reserved than her littermates and needs a bit of extra time to warm up, but she is worth the wait! Once you've won her over, she is the best couch companion! Cashmere is about 4 months old. Cashmere does great with other cats. While it is not required, she'd love to go home with her sister, Velvet. She has not met dogs or kids, but we feel she would do well with older kids, and calm, cat-friendly dogs who can give her space to acclimate. Taylor Co SPCA's Adoption Policy

To ensure the best match for your family, we have an application process for our adoptable dogs and cats. You can access the applications here: https://www.tgspca.org/ After your application is submitted, TCSPA will review your application and contact character references, vets, etc. As part of the review process, you may be contacted to answer questions or provide a video tour of your home. Application processing usually takes 5-7 days. If your application is approved, you will be contacted to arrange a time to meet with your potential pet and a volunteer/foster from the SPCA. The purpose of this meeting is to ensure you and the animal are right for each other. If this meeting goes well, your pet can go home with you that day! Most meet & greets end with an adoption. During the meeting, we will review our adoption contract. Once the adoption is finalized and the adoption contract is signed, your new best friend is ready to go home with you!
