Cash C9788's Story
Cash is a sweet Tortie looking for a home with lots of pets and love. Although shy and timid at first, Cash will quickly warm up and accept pets and cuddles. At night, she wants to curl up next to or on top of her humans. She is patient and gentle with kids of all ages. She plays with cat toys but is not destructive. She is completely litterbox trained and eats both kibble and wet food. She would be an excellent addition to an energetic home and would likely also thrive in a quiet but stimulating environment. She is interested in being friends with our resident cats and would likely get along with a respectful dog. While Torties have a reputation for being standoffish, Cashy-kins just wants to be loved, stimulated and to live a long life as a companion cat. Cash is from an owner surrender. Want to adopt a kitten? We highly recommend you consider bringing home two instead of one! Adopting kittens in pairs has been proven to be beneficial for cats' emotional and behavioral well-being and greatly improves the likelihood of long-term adopter happiness as a result. Adopting more than one kitten also reduces the risk of "Single Kitten Syndrome" (also known as Tarzan Syndrome), a symptom of under-socialization during a kitten's most formative weeks. Kittens who are under-socialized may develop aggressive tendencies toward both other animals and humans as they grow, creating lifelong behavioral issues for owners.
