Carrot

Carrot was born outside and developed a severe eye infection. When his foster took him in, his eye was painfully swollen and unfortunately ruptured despite medical attention and care. Carrot had his eye removed as soon as he was large enough to undergo sedation. <br/><br/>Despite Carrot’s extreme pain, he was very affectionate with his foster mom and her adult cats. His appetite also never wavered. <br/><br/>Today, he is a healthy 11.5 pound boy who is looking for his perfect home. <br/><br/>Important things to know about Carrot:<br/><br/>He is shy but opens up to his person. He sleeps in the bed with his foster at night. <br/>He needs a home with another cat. <br/>He can get along with dogs, but is fearful and needs a calm dog. <br/>He doesn’t like to be picked up. He loves to be pet though, especially while he is eating. <br/>He’s very playful and loves the laser pointer and teasers.<br/>He is litter box trained and has never had issues.
