Right now, she is a very scared and timid girl who would likely do best in a quiet, calm home where she can take her time getting comfortable.<br/><br/>She may spend some time simply watching the world around her, taking everything in from a safe spot. But underneath that cautious exterior is a sweet girl who deserves the chance to learn that people can be kind and that she is safe. <br/><br/>Carnival will need someone who understands that trust takes time and is willing to let her come out of her shell at her own pace. With patience, love, and a peaceful environment, this sweet girl may blossom into a wonderful companion.<br/><br/>At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals! <br/>We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion. <br/><br/>Want to Know if I’m Still Available? <br/>Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability.
