Meet Carmela <br/><br/>Carmela is a gorgeous tabby and white girl with a heart as beautiful as her face. This young lady was found wandering the streets of Bayonne, where she walked right up to her finder and practically begged to be rescued. <br/><br/>Once in Furvana’s care, Carmela got the fresh start she deserved. She was vetted, spayed, and vaccinated, and our veterinarian estimates that she is barely a year old.<br/><br/>Sadly, we suspect Carmela may be another victim of the all-too-common cycle of someone getting a cute little kitten, failing to properly care for her, and then abandoning her when she grows into a cat.<br/><br/>And Carmela is such a sweetheart. She is extremely affectionate, incredibly chill, and happiest when she’s cuddled up with her person. She doesn’t ask for much—just love, attention, and a safe place to call home.<br/><br/>Carmela actually had someone who really wanted to adopt her, but heartbreaking circumstances got in the way: the potential adopter developed severe allergies and had to back out.<br/><br/>So this beautiful girl is still waiting.<br/><br/>Carmela has already been let down once.
