Carley's Story

== HART'S ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://form.jotform.com/232960843545058

Carley had been fending for herself at a pizza shop in Carlisle, where the kindhearted owners fed her and made sure she had fresh water. After Carley gave birth to a litter of kittens, efforts intensified to rescue them all. A HART volunteer waited more than 6.5 hours to determine where brave Mama Carley had hidden her babies. Now, Carley and her kittens can look forward to lives that are about more than mere survival.

After a life outdoors and the exhausting task of raising a litter (and who knows how many before this one, which will be her last), Carley appreciates calmness. She is friendly but independent. Her foster dad thought she would prefer a home with a smaller number of adult cats (versus the hustle and bustle of many cats and/or kittens). She loves sitting in the windowsill and observing outdoor activities. After a life outside, perhaps she's thinking about how grateful she is to be safe, well-fed and loved. Now she just needs her own family to love her forever.

We estimate Carley is 2 or 3 years old. She is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.

Questions?
