Meet Carducci! Carducci came to us as a super friendly stray who showed up at a volunteer's home. He was not happy being outside - any time our volunteer came out, he would sprint across multiple yards to greet them and beg to be allowed inside. Once he even dodged around them to get in the front door, and then proceeded to strut around like he owned the place. They couldn't leave him out in the cold, so he came to us.<br/><br/>Carducci is a very social gentleman. It only takes a little bit of sniffing for him to make a new friend. He is vocal, and loves to chat about his day, preferably while being held so he can give cheek nuzzles at the same time. He has a lovely purr and gives great hugs. He looooves being brushed, and will stretch all the way out for the full experience.<br/><br/>When out with the others, Carducci generally picks a comfy window seat to splay out on. He loves watching the world go by from the comfort of the indoors. When getting attention, he will wiggle all around and show his tummy so we can pet every inch of him. He isn't especially interested in other cats, but is never aggressive with them, either.<br/><br/>Carducci would do well in a home with or without other cats. He has not been reactive with dogs at the center. He would be great with gentle children.<br/><br/>Carducci is estimated to be 7 years old as of June 2026. He has been neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.
