Having lived with many other cats, Cape is familiar with feline companionship and has a laid-back, easygoing nature.<br/><br/>While she was primarily an outdoor cat in her previous home, Cape may be happy as an indoor/outdoor cat again in the right environment. She enjoys having the freedom to explore but also appreciates the comforts of human companionship.<br/><br/>Cape is a sweet girl who especially loves a good scratch on her cheeks or near the base of her tailgive her some attention there, and you'll likely be rewarded with a happy purr. She's a nice, friendly cat who is adjusting to a lot of change and would love to find a stable home where she can settle in and be herself.<br/><br/>If you're looking for a gentle companion who enjoys both affection and a little independence, Cape could be the perfect fit.<br/><br/>At the Humane Society of Midland County, all animals adopted will be spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations prior to an adoption. Dogs over 6 months of age will be heartworm tested, and any dog with a positive test will receive treatment at No Appointment Needed to Meet Adoptable Animals! <br/>We have open adoption hours, and walk-ins are always welcome! While filling out an application lets us know you're interested in adopting, it does not hold an animal, and applications are not required to meet the available animals. We do highly recommend and may require you to bring any dogs that reside in the same household, or that will be around commonly if you are meeting a new dog companion. <br/><br/>Want to Know if Im Still Available? <br/>Call the shelter at (989)-835-1877 to confirm my availability.
