Canyon's Story

I am 7-year-old Canyon (F-421). My owner moved and could not take me along, so I was brought back to SCHS. As you can see, I am still a hefty girl! I am on a diet of 2 cans of pate wet food, no dry food, per vet orders. I will need to continue this diet. I am vet checked, spayed, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped and FIV/FeLV negative!

It is a misconception that wet food is bad for us, like a junk food. Wet food (the appropriate kind) is actually beneficial! It provides us with more water intake and less carbs! Dry food can have A LOT of carbs which is why I am in the circumstance that I’m in.
