Cantaloupe is a striking black kitty with wide eyes. He's in need of someone to provide him patience and a home to call his own. <br/><br/>He's frightened of humans currently. He came into the shelter with a group of cats, with far less contact with humans than average.<br/><br/>Cantaloupe is estimated to be three years old. He may will learn to socialize with people over time or he may end up as a spirit cat and best friend to your cat. <br/><br/>Cantloupe seems to enjoy the company of other cats so it might be helpful if a potential adopter had a friendly cat to show him the ropes and teach him people are good! Cats as fearful as him generally struggle with the presence of a dog (unless they're very old and totally hands off).
