She happily follows Lyra's lead as the two navigate the world together.<br/>The sisters love to play with each other, and they're just as sweet with people - when children came to visit, both girls had a wonderful time meeting them and soaking up all the pets.<br/>Calypso is ready to find a home where she can keep growing into herself, ideally alongside her beloved sister Lyra. Mountain Humane's Adoption Policy

Any visitor to the shelter interested in adopting one of the animals is asked to fill out a brief adoption application. In conjunction with the application, we interview all potential adopters with the goal of matching the right animal with the right family and lifestyle. This is of prime importance - we endeavor to make this new home the animal's residence for life! All adoptable animals are spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccinations, dewormed, and microchipped. Fees are as follows: Puppies: $250 Dogs: $150 Senior & Special Needs Dogs: $75 Pure Bred Dogs w/AKC Papers: $500 Kittens: $100 (the second one is free!) Cats: $50 Senior or Special Needs Cats: $25 Barn Cats: $0 Ferret or Chinchilla: $50 Hamsters or Mice: $10 Rabbits: $25
