Callie's Story

Callie is a four-year old long-haired calico beauty. She is a bit shy but once you gain her trust she is playful and affectionate. She enjoys toys and even waiting by the shower for water to splash her! She is an enthusiastic fan of nighttime play. One of her favorite spots is a sunny windowsill.
Callie gets along with friendly cats, but since some of the cats in her current home are bullying her, she needs a new furever home. She would probably do best as an indoor cat in a quiet home, either as an only pet or with a friendly feline friend. Considering her initial cautious nature, a slow introduction would likely be needed for successful adaptation to children or dogs.
Callie is spayed, up to date on rabies vaccine, FELV/FIV negative, and fully litter box trained. Her rehoming fee is $125.
Please contact Liz at 707 496-9623 or elizabethfinger1@gmail.com for a meet and greet or more information.
She is not at our adoption center, as this is a courtesy post for a community member and she is living in her current home.

Companion Animal Foundation's Adoption Policy
If interested, we have potential adopters meet the animal in person and fill out our adoption application. After reviewing the application, which are processed in the order they are received, as long as everything checks out and is good to go we will reach out to the applicant to either set up an adoption appointment (if the animal of interest is altered and ready to go), ask some clarifying questions if part of the application was unclear, or let you know that the animal is already spoken for. We require that ALL family members meet the animal prior to adoption. Once the kitty or puppy, cat or dog is ready to go- we do an in person adoption where we go over pet care, the history of your new family member, microchip the animal, and help fill out the registration information.
