Callie- Bonded with CiCi's Story

Some friendships are simply meant to be, and that's exactly the story of Callie and CiCi.

Callie (estimated DOB 6/8/26) was found as a tiny stray kitten suffering from a severe infection in both eyes. Despite everything she endured, this brave little girl never lost her joyful spirit. As a result of her infection, Callie is blind, but don't tell her that! She races through life with confidence, curiosity, and endless kitten enthusiasm. Crinkle balls, noisy toys, cuddles, and adventures are some of her favorite things. She is fearless, happy, and so incredibly well-adjusted that you'll quickly forget she can't see.

Not long after, CiCi (estimated DOB 6/17/26) was found all alone as a tiny stray kitten herself. Sweet, loving, and gentle, CiCi arrived just when Callie needed her most. The two bonded almost immediately, and what began as a friendship quickly became a sisterhood.

Today, they're completely inseparable.

CiCi proudly serves as Callie's best friend, constant companion, and unofficial "seeing-eye kitten." She wears a little bell on her collar, allowing Callie to easily find her wherever she goes. If you see one kitten, the other is never far behind. They play together, nap together, explore together, and cuddle together. Their bond is truly something special.

Both girls adore people and are world-class snugglers. They're accustomed to traveling, love attention, and never seem to run out of affection to give. They're also champion litter box users and scratching post professionals who take their jobs very seriously!

Callie may be blind, but she doesn't require extensive special care. Like most blind cats, she thrives with a safe, predictable environment where food, water, and litter boxes remain easy to find. Beyond that, she's essentially a normal kitten who simply experiences the world a little differently. Nothing slows her down, and she approaches every day with excitement and happiness.

These precious girls found each other when they both needed a friend, and now they can't imagine life apart. Because of their incredible bond, Callie and CiCi must be adopted together.

If you're looking for twice the love, twice the cuddles, and one unforgettable friendship, Callie and CiCi are waiting to steal your heart. Two kittens. One extraordinary bond. A lifetime of love.

If you are ready for a life of kitty love and adventure, pop over to our website www.hsdmcohio.org and fill out an adoption application to begin the process of bringing them home! You will fall in love with them just as quickly as we have!

Our adoption fee is $100.00 for kittens up to 6 months of age and $80 for cats 7 months and older. It includes: a microchip, spay or neuter, set of shots, de-worming, and a 1-year rabies vaccine (if old enough). Fees can be made by cash or credit card.
