Callie lived with other cats previously and is a love! She truly enjoys the company of one or two other cats, but more than that can be overwhelming for her. Callie blossoms once in a quiet, calm home, and she truly has shown how wonderful she is while being in foster. <br/><br/>Callie is the type of feline that appreciates time and patience to adjust to a new setting. Callie is a sweet, but shy gal, and shows her affection with time, and in her own way. She will gently lay by your side showing her sweet nature, as she becomes confident. The shelter was no place for Callie, and a home is just where she belongs!<br/><br/>Callie also qualifies for the Seniors For Seniors Program in which the adoption fee is waived for humans over the age of 60! <br/><br/>All cats receive one or more vaccinations, a basic veterinary examination, are dewormed, and spayed/neutered. Cats over 3 months of age are microchipped and FIV/feline leukemia tested. <br/><br/>No appointment is necessary to adopt. Adoptions are done on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will not be accepted in advance and will be filled out at the shelter upon adoption. We want you to meet the purrrrfect feline for you and your lifestyle! FAPL is open Tuesdays-Saturdays from 11am-6:30pm. Sundays 12:00-3:00pm. Closed to the public Mondays. Please bring a copy of lease agreement if you rent home/apartment. <br/><br/>Upon adoption, all cats must go home in a carrier. You may bring one of your own or purchase one from FAPL for a small fee. Please remember, the carrier cannot be opened until safely within your home.
