Callie's Story

Callie’s story began outdoors as part of a TNR effort, where she was known by her colony feeder as a sweet and friendly girl. When she came into rescue, she was understandably shy while adjusting to indoor life, but it didn’t take long for us to discover the loving cat she truly is.

Callie is a quiet, sensitive kitty who just needs a little time to feel safe. Once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly affectionate and devoted. She loves Churu treats, cozy blankets, ear rubs, and brushing sessions. When she’s comfortable, she turns into a full purr machine and happily makes biscuits while relaxing near her favorite person.

Callie isn’t the kind of cat who will immediately demand attention from strangers. Instead, she forms deep, meaningful bonds with the people she trusts. Watching her slowly come out of her shell and blossom into a loving companion is incredibly special.

*We only adopt to homes within New Jersey and require that adopters live approximately within one hour of our two home bases in North Bergen and Florham Park. While travel time is a general guideline, applications may still be denied if the distance in miles is too far, even if technically within an hour, due to limitations in transport and post-adoption support.
