Hi there! My name is Callie and I am looking for a new home. I was purchased as a young cat by my previous owner who passed away in the fall of 2025. He husband had his hands full with 2 cats and multiple dogs and hasn't been well either so he asked PAWS-OK to take me and my house mate, Gizmo. I am middle age but still happy to play with mice and love to roll around on the clod tile. I am pretty good with other pets (the dogs at my old home were smaller than me, LOL!) but would prefer to be an only (ie "spoiled") pet.<br/><br/>PAWS-OK is a small foster based non profit rescue operating in the OKC area since 2008. All our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, up-to-date on their vaccines, litterbox trained and fostered in a volunteers home. We are committed to placing our rescues in the most loving homes that we can, regardless of how long it takes. Our kittens are kept with their mothers for as long as possible and not offered for adoption until they are at least 16 weeks of age. A handful of our available felines can be seen in the PetSmart Adoption Center in Rockwell Plaza (8357 N Rockwell) during normal store hours. <br/><br/>If you are interested in adopting a new cat from PAWS-OK for your family, please go to our Adoption Request form at https://form.jotform.com/pawsokrescue/adoption-request-form. Your Request will be processed by a PAWS Volunteer who may reach out to you via email to clarify your information if needed. Processing normally takes 2-3 business days. If your request is approved, an Adoption Counselor will contact you to set up a phone interview or a time to meet with them at our Adoption Center.
