Callais is a sweetheart who loves pets and cuddles; she will happily curl up in your arms or on your lap and hang out near you while you go about your day.<br/><br/>A petite and beautiful girl, estimated less than a year old, Callais has come a long way since she was found abandoned on a back road with her 8-week old kitten in late August.<br/>She was undernourished and weak but still a good mamma to her kitten and to a second foster kitten she adopted.<br/>She was never hostile towards humans but was initially quite reserved.<br/>It seemed like she had had a tough time.<br/><br/>Once her babies were adopted and Callais recovered her strength, her true personality emerged; she is affectionate, curious and playful.<br/><br/>She would do best in a chill, low stress home where she can receive the love and attention she deserves.<br/><br/>Callais needs a lot of interaction – she will get vocal when bored – and enjoys playtime with wand toys.<br/>She would probably appreciate another kitty to play with.
