Cali was adopted out by us as a kitten last summer, so she is not quite a year old yet. She was returned at no fault of her own, and is starting over fresh! Cali has decided she must be the only cat in her new home. No ifs ands or buts about it! She is a queen and knows it! This girl is super vocal and loving. Nelson County Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy
We ask that potential adopters view our pets online. If interested in a particular pet we ask for adopters to submit a pre-adoption application. Once we receive a completed application it takes a few days of processing time. Applicants will be contacted and made aware the status of their application. Approved applicants will be scheduled to come and meet the pet they applied for. If all goes well with the meeting, the adopter we be able to take the lucky pet home!
