She is confident, affectionate, and full of charm. Her foster mom describes her as a kitten who wants to be part of every moment of your day — whether that’s cuddling, playing, or “helping” with chores.

Cali loves wet food, digs through the toy box to select her favorites, and often joins in on whatever her humans are doing. She has a particularly unique trait: she loves water. Cali will happily hop into the tub with you, splashing around like a tiny calico otter with no fear at all. She also enjoys standing in her water bowl when she drinks, just to make sure her paws are fully included in the hydration experience.

If You’re Thinking About Adopting Me, I Think You Should Know:
I am adventurous, confident, and affectionate. I love toys, people, other animals, and especially water. If you’re looking for a playful kitten with a big personality and a love for being involved in everything, I may be the perfect match for you.

Important Adoption Information and Next Steps:
All animals adopted through the Oswego County SPCA (OCAWL) are spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipped prior to adoption, and tested for FeLV/FIV (cats) or heartworm (dogs) when age-appropriate. Our animals are cared for in loving foster homes — they are not housed in a shelter environment. We review all applications thoroughly to ensure the best match for both animal and adopter. Adoption fees help cover the cost of veterinary care, food, and rescue operations so we can continue saving animals throughout Oswego County.

To apply to adopt, please visit www.oswegocountyspca.org
and complete our adoption application.

When you submit your application, please notify your veterinarian that we will be calling. If you do not have a current vet, please select one in advance so we can confirm your new pet will receive appropriate medical care.

For homes with existing pets, all resident animals must be spayed or neutered (with documented medical exceptions) and current on vaccinations. This helps ensure the safety and well-being of both new and existing family members.

Please keep in mind that we are 100 percent foster-based and volunteer-operated. We work hard to place animals quickly, but if you do not hear back within a few days, please message us on Facebook to confirm your application was received.
