Cadet is in.<br/><br/>Cadet came into rescue with her siblings after their mama was humanely trapped by Animal Control. While Mama preferred a more independent life, her babies took to indoor living beautifully — and Cadet has grown into one exceptionally well-adjusted little girl.<br/><br/>Cadet is currently fostered with her brother Deputy and Honorary Officer Harold, who joined the family as an orphaned three-week-old kitten and was promptly accepted as one of the crew. All three are still looking for homes, and Cadet could easily be adopted with either Deputy or Harold for anyone looking for a ready-made pair of buddies. <br/><br/>Personality: A+<br/>Adaptability: A+<br/>Entertainment value: A+<br/>Current assignment: Find her forever family. <br/><br/>Cadet is officially on patrol for hearts. <br/><br/>Everybody loves kittens, and it's easy to see why! Kittens four months old or younger are only adopted out in pairs or to homes that already have a friendly, playful resident cat. Young kittens simply do not thrive in isolation, and we do not make exceptions. If you're looking for a single cat, please look to our older kittens, teens, or adults. They're wonderful companions and fully ready to be your one-and-only.<br/><br/>All of the Sweet Paws animals are loved a great deal by their rescuers, fosters, and the volunteers who've cared for them along the way. Your kitten will be up to date on appropriate vaccinations by adoption day, but please keep in mind that kittens require multiple routine vet visits throughout the course of their first year. Sweet Paws is staffed by volunteers, and processing applications is time intensive; therefore, we ask that you only submit an application if you are fully committed to adopting.
