C. Thomas Howl 's Story

He may not be quite as famous as THE C. Thomas Howell, but this handsome leading man has built a fan base of his own in record time—and for good reason.
Our C. Thomas Howl spent nearly two years as part of “The Outsiders”, roaming the streets of southeast Grand Rapids and doing his best to stay out of harm’s way. Estimated to have been born in fall 2022, he was already neutered and ear-tipped when he was finally rescued in early March 2026, thanks to our friend Holly J.

While he’s clearly seen his share of scuffles out there, you’d never know it meeting him today. This boy is nothing short of a gentleman—friendly, easygoing, and incredibly well-mannered. Truly, he was just a victim of circumstances beyond his control.

Now, about that name… he does have a bit of a voice! C. Thomas Howl isn’t shy about sharing his opinions—especially when it comes to car rides or the injustice of being temporarily confined during vet visits at Feline Wellness Center. But honestly, we think it just adds to his charm. A guy who can speak his mind? We respect that.

At nearly 15 pounds of pure fabulousness, this big, lovable boy adores people and thrives on attention. He gets along wonderfully with other cats and would make an amazing addition to a home with kids looking for a fun, playful, and affectionate companion.

C. Thomas Howl is ready to leave his street days behind and step fully into his starring role—could that be in your home?
