Buttersworth's Story
Meet Buttersworth: The Perfectly Balanced Playmate!
If you are looking for a kitten who knows how to have fun but also appreciates the finer points of a long afternoon nap, Buttersworth is your guy. This delightful 4-month-old grey and white male is a master of balance; while he is quite independent and confident, he truly loves being in the mix, often choosing to play and snooze right alongside his siblings. Buttersworth is a social butterfly who would fit right into a variety of households, as he is friendly with children ages 5 and up and is expected to do well with cat-friendly dogs who can match his gentle yet playful spirit. Buttersworth is a wonderful kitten, but he does have one very important requirement for his forever home: he must go to a household that already has another young, playful cat or be adopted with one of his siblings. We require this because kittens are social creatures who thrive on feline companionship. Growing up with a buddy is essential for their social development, as they learn vital lessons like bite inhibition and feline body language from one another. Having a companion also provides the mental stimulation and physical exercise that humans simply can't replicate, helping them burn off that famous kitten energy and preventing boredom-related mischief. Most importantly, a feline friend offers a sense of security and comfort, ensuring your kitten grows into a well-adjusted, confident adult. If you have a cat-shaped hole in your heart (and your home!), Buttersworth is ready to fill it with purrs and playtime! His adoption fee is $250.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats. Once you have a confirmed appointment, you can monitor the adoption appointment calendar and move your appointment to an earlier opening should one become available. We are not able to contact you to switch your appointment.

Stay up-to-date with all events and happenings at Caring for Cats!
