Someone had abandoned her there to fend for herself, carrying babies that would soon be born.<br/><br/>A kind Good Samaritan couldn't bear to leave her behind and brought her to safety.<br/><br/>Just hours after her rescue, Butterscotch gave birth.<br/><br/>For the first time in who knows how long, she had a warm, safe place to rest and the chance to do what she wanted most—to lovingly care for her babies. Despite everything she had endured, she was the most devoted mother, gently nurturing each of her kittens until they were old enough to begin their own lives.<br/><br/>One by one, every one of her precious babies found loving homes.<br/><br/>Now it's Butterscotch's turn.<br/><br/>She has watched each of her kittens leave for their happily ever after while she patiently waits, wondering when someone will finally choose her.<br/><br/>Butterscotch isn't asking for much.
