Some cats even live into their thirties, although this is far less common. So don't let that discourage you from adopting an adult cat if a kitten is too much energy for you! Rescue Mama has had 3 live into their 20's. One was 8 weeks old.<br/><br/><br/>BUTTERSCOTCH and his siblings (AMARETTI, MOCHA TRUFFLE, BISCOTTI and SNICKERDOODLE) were left in a carrier with her mama COOKIE on a lady’s doorstep in Murrieta, California. When notified, we found a foster and who took them in.<br/><br/><br/>Meet BUTTERSCOTCH, a young orange kitten boy from Murrieta, California, whose sunny coloring and adventurous personality make him impossible not to adore. BUTTERSCOTCH was just three weeks old when he arrived with his mama, COOKIE, and his siblings AMARETTI, SNICKERDOODLE, MOCHA TRUFFLE, and BISCOTTI after their little family was left together in a tiny carrier on a Murrieta doorstep. A kind lady brought the family to us, and BUTTERSCOTCH has been growing up in a loving foster home ever since.<br/><br/><br/>From those very early days, BUTTERSCOTCH has had plenty of love, care, and opportunities to grow into the curious, affectionate boy he is today. This little explorer believes every cabinet deserves a thorough inspection. Open a cupboard, and there is a good chance Butterscotch will be right there, ready to investigate what treasures might be hiding inside. His curiosity keeps life interesting, and he is always eager to discover something new.<br/><br/><br/>BUTTERSCOTCH is also quite the foodie. He loves the idea of tasting people food and is always interested in whatever deliciousness his humans happen to be enjoying. Of course, his enthusiasm for snacks is just one of the many things that makes this boy so charming.<br/><br/><br/>When his adventures are finished, BUTTERSCOTCH is more than happy to trade exploration time for cuddle time. He loves a good snuggle and enjoys being close to his people. He is the kind of kitten who wants to be part of whatever you are doing, whether you are opening a cabinet, relaxing after a busy day, or simply moving from one room to another.<br/><br/><br/>This adventurous little orange boy is ready to bring his curiosity, playful spirit, and affectionate personality into a loving family. Official Meet and Greet with Kitty<br/>8. Sign Adoption Contract<br/>9. Pay Adoption Fee (VENMO - ZELLE - PAYPAL or CASH)<br/>10. Not PETSMART employees. <br/><br/><br/>Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning ONLY. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. VISITING HOURS: 5 pm - 8 pm (Monday thru Saturday) and Sunday 3 pm - 6 pm. The VOLUNTEERS are only there in the evening for 3 hours.. FOR HOLIDAYS email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are the same 3-hour shifts. It's based on volunteer availability and store hours. <br/><br/><br/>*********WE CAN DO MEET AND GREETS AT THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS*********<br/><br/><br/>PETSMART - 17651 Colima Rd, City Of Industry, California 91748<br/><br/>PETSMART - 25290 Madison Ave, Murrieta, California 92562<br/><br/><br/>The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet and greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!<br/><br/><br/>************* Please no calls to the rescue. No one is available to take calls. ************<br/><br/><br/>If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.<br/><br/><br/>Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.<br/><br/><br/>We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue.
