BUTCH & SUNDANCE #1985 - Offered by Owner Bonded's Story

Butch and Sundance ("Sonny") are a sweet, bonded pair of year old littermates who came to us from the Humane Society. They’ve grown into playful companions full of youthful energy. Sonny is a total snuggler, while Butch has a hilarious fascination with hair! True "tree cats," they love perching up high.

A Note on Sonny’s Health: Sonny is a happy, energetic young cat who acts completely healthy and requires no special care right now! Because we are proactive about his well-being, we are currently in the process of confirming a suspected diagnosis of cardiomyopathy with a veterinary cardiologist later this month. While this means he has the potential to become a special-needs kitty requiring routine daily medication, he is currently thriving without any limitations.

We love these boys, but as they've matured, their high-energy double-teaming play style has become too much for our 9-year-old petite cat. While not malicious, they corner her to force play, overwhelming our senior girl now that they outsize her.

They are endlessly amusing, chasing each other, playing with track-ball toys, and cuddling humans. Butch even loves initiating play with our 50 lb dog! They rise at 5 AM, romp while I WFH, nap in sunbeams, and settle after evening meals. They are indoor-only and would thrive as only pets or with a dog. They might do okay with younger cats too. They haven't been exposed to kids, but nothing about their friendly, social personalities suggests they wouldn't do well.

Both are litter trained, neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated. We gently redirect young-cat habits (like counters). They eat Blue Buffalo kibble alongside canned wet food, plus Churus and Greenies in moderation. Butch and Sonny have so much love to give, and someone is going to be so happy to welcome these two special boys into their home and heart. We truly wish it could be us. These snuggle buddies are indoor only and live in Ridgefield, WA - 17 miles from Vancouver and their rehoming fee is $50.

This cat is offered for adoption due to the owner's personal circumstances. For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the owner for follow-ups and meeting arrangement.

Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.
