Buster's Story

If you’ve ever wanted a cat with the presence of a small dog, Buster is your guy. This big, handsome tuxedo weighs in around 17 pounds and brings equal parts personality and snuggles wherever he goes.
Buster is friendly, confident, and adapts easily—he’s the kind of cat who will make himself at home just about anywhere. He loves people, enjoys attention, and will happily plop himself right on your chest like a very heavy, very purry weighted blanket.

He’s also got a fun side—Buster can walk on a leash! (Don’t expect a marathon… think short strolls with lots of breaks. He prefers the “stop and admire life” approach.)

After a tough start on the streets, Buster is now fully healed and thriving in foster care. He’s ready for a home where he can relax, be loved, and show off his easygoing charm.

Best home for Buster:
- Can thrive in most environments thanks to his outgoing personality
- Would do great as a solo pet or with the right laid-back companions
- Needs someone who can keep an eye on his meals—he’s very food-motivated and will overdo it if allowed

Health note:
Buster has a slightly weaker immune system, so he should be kept indoors to stay healthy—just like any cat. He’s doing great and living a normal, happy life!

If you’re looking for a big, affectionate, low-maintenance companion with a little extra personality, Buster is ready to claim his spot in your home (and on your chest).

Apply to adopt Buster:
https://happy-whiskers.org/adopt/
We’re based in South Florida but offer transport to approved adopters.

Our adoption fee includes: sterilization surgery, microchipping, deworming, age-appropriate testing, up-to-date vaccines, and monthly flea prevention.

Apply today: https://happy-whiskers.org/adopt/
