Bus Stop's Story

Bus Stop came from a large group of cats rescued from the home of an elderly woman who could no longer care for them. The cats lived with little veterinary care in a home that had become overwhelmed, leaving them under-socialized and unsure of people. Because of this background, Bus Stop is very shy and prefers not to be handled or interacted with much right now. However, he has already begun to make progress at the shelter. He is starting to come out consistently for meals, and his strong food motivation is helping him build confidence. With patience, a calm environment, and an understanding adopter, Bus Stop has the potential to continue warming up and showing more of his sweet, resilient personality.
