Once that little motor gets going, you’ll hear one of Burt’s best features—his ridiculously LOUD purr. For such a little guy, he somehow managed to install an industrial-sized purr motor. <br/>Burt is affectionate, but very much on his own terms. He isn’t a big snuggler and doesn’t particularly enjoy being picked up or held. What he DOES love is being petted and getting attention while keeping all four paws safely under his own control. If you’re looking for a kitten who wants to be your playful little sidekick rather than carried around like a baby, Burt may be your guy!<br/> What about dogs? Burt is currently unsure and a little fearful around dogs. A dog-free home would certainly be comfortable for him, but that doesn’t necessarily mean he can never live with a dog. With a calm, cat-friendly dog who respects his space, Burt may be able to adjust beautifully. He’s looking for the home that thinks his quirky, energetic little personality is absolutely perfect. <br/>Burt is in a foster home. His adoption will go through Douglas County Animal Services and will include first vaccines, a microchip and neuter when he is old enough if you use Carson Valley Vet or Animal Medical Services in Gardnerville.
